Maquette is a publication that serves as an archive in motion for the projects, research, and dialogues of CCAM. Appearing both online and in print, each issue is themed, and includes a mix of faculty, students, and guests, among them Julie Curtiss, Ian Cheng, Priyamvada Natarajan, Jace Clayton a.k.a DJ /rupture, Balarama Heller, Damian Loeb, Lisa Kereszi, Nora N. Khan, Sarah Oppenheimer, Anahita Vossoughi, Takashi Ikegami, Ned Beauman, Pamela Zoline, Gregory Crewdson, Hayal Pozanti, and Keller Easterling.
Each print edition arrives with a fresh visual identity. Graphic designers include Julia Schäfer, Furqan Jawed, Anna Sagström, and Jun Jung.
Founded in 2019 by Dana Karwas and Alex Zafiris, Maquette has been inducted into the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library collections.
