When I became Director of Yale’s Center for Collaborative Arts and Media (CCAM) in 2019, I immediately had a vision of this star, which I now call the Celestial World of CCAM. It embodies the cross-disciplinary intelligence that happens here on a daily basis, while referencing the 1922 diagram by Gropius, enhanced shortly thereafter by Paul Klee.

This new journal is how we are sharing the work of our students and faculty. Maquette is a platform for ideas, process, and ingenuity. I am energized by the community that I have embraced and which has also embraced me. I am excited to initiate this conversation with the world.
